Lunch Goes Local

My husband's lunch features all local foods, except the condiments/spices:

-- Slow-cooked barbecue chicken,
-- Homemade wheat bread (There's butter for it in the little green container),
-- Mashed roasted acorn squash with just a little maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

It's all left over from dinner, which we drank with our favorite local apple cider! Yum. You'll notice there are far more calories than yesterday's lunch had: he comes home early on Thursdays and works later on Fridays, so dinner is late and often lighter on Fridays.
